Domestic Pet Travel

Elite Pet Services is an approved Air New Zealand pet shipper — and that’s now essential. Air New Zealand no longer accepts direct public bookings for domestic pet cargo, meaning all pets must be checked in through an approved shipper like us.

We can also supply an airline-compliant travel crate if needed. You’re welcome to collect your pet from the destination airport yourself — just bring photo ID. Key things to know:

• Check-in required 70 minutes prior to departure
• IATA-compliant crates with spring-lock doors and water bowls required
• All bookings made under Air New Zealand cargo terms and conditions

Need to get your pet to the vet, a groomer, or a boarding facility but can’t make it yourself? Our Pet Taxi service covers the Franklin area, providing a reliable pick-up and drop-off service so your pet arrives safely and on time.
